What do I need to apply?

You’ll need:

  • An active AIB account

  • Valid business license

  • Updated Article of Association (AoA)

  • Collateral or counter-guarantee (for some products)


How can I apply?

What guarantees are available?

Bid bond, performance, advance payment, retention, shipping, and custom guarantees.


How long does it take to issue a guarantee?

If all requirements are fulfilled, guarantees can often be issued the same day.


Can guarantees be amended or cancelled?

Yes, but only with written consent from involved parties.


Do I need to provide collateral?

Yes. Collateral is usually required, either as cash margin or a counter- guarantee from an A-class bank


What types of LCs are available?

Sight, deferred/usance, standby.


What documents are needed for an import LC?

A valid business license, updated AoA, proforma invoice, and agreed LC terms.


Are securities required for documentary collections?

No. Documentary collections do not require security.
