We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Lockie as Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Lockie joined AIB in 2025 as Business Advisor and Consultant to the CEO and was promoted to Chief Executive Officer on 10 June 2026.

Throughout his distinguished career, he has successfully led teams across emerging markets and the United Kingdom, holding senior positions with ABK Kuwait, AUB Egypt, and Barclays. He holds an MBA in Chartered Banking from Bangor University and an MSc in Cultural Leadership from the University of South Wales.

Mr. Lockie is a Fellow of both the Chartered Banker Institute and the Chartered Management Institute, reflecting his extensive expertise and commitment to professional excellence.

We congratulate Mr. Lockie on this well-deserved appointment and wish him every success in his new role.
